Basic Information
Core functions and components of the lighting control board
1. Display and interactive interface
The lighting control board usually integrates LED display or backlight button to display the cooking status (such as cooking, keeping warm, reservation), remaining time, temperature and fault code in real time. For example, the smart LED panel of COMFEE' rice cooker supports 24-hour reservation function and distinguishes cooking modes by different colors/icons.
Some high-end models (such as Cuchen CRT-RPK0640IUS) use flame orange backlight design to enhance the visual prompt effect.
2. Control signal transmission
The control board receives user instructions (such as key operation) through the microcontroller (MCU) and sends signals to the heating module synchronously. For example, the control board of IH rice cooker achieves precise temperature control by adjusting the current to ensure that the rice is evenly heated.
3. Safety protection indication
When the built-in sensor (such as temperature and pressure sensor) detects an abnormality, the light board will trigger an alarm or flash prompt. For example, in the event of overvoltage, dry burning or other fault conditions, the LED displays a specific code and automatically cuts off the power supply.
Technical implementation and hardware design
1. Core components
Master control chip (MCU): such as ARM or AVR series processors, responsible for logical operations and instruction distribution, supporting fuzzy logic algorithms to adapt to different types of rice and water.
Drive circuit: Control the power of the heating plate through relays or thyristors, such as full power heating at the beginning of cooking, and switching to low power stewing later.
Temperature detection module: Thermistors or thermocouples provide real-time feedback on the temperature of the inner pot to ensure that the MCU dynamically adjusts the heating strategy.
2. Display circuit design
LED digital tube/LCD screen: Low-cost LEDs are often used in low-cost LEDs to display basic information in low-end models, while high-end models (such as Zojirushi) use LCD screens to support multi-language menus and animation prompts.
Backlight technology: Some products (such as the foreign trade models mentioned on page 5) are equipped with multi-color LED backlights, which distinguish working states by color (such as blue for keeping warm and red for heating).
3. Circuit protection mechanism
Overvoltage and overcurrent protection circuits prevent voltage fluctuations from damaging the control board, such as the reverse voltage protection design of the IGBT module.
The anti-dry-burn function monitors the moisture content of the inner tank through a thermistor, and automatically cuts off the power and lights up the warning light when there is no water.
